प्रातरुत्थाय यो मर्त्यः कल्पं छेदं समाहितः ॥ जितेन्द्रियः शुचिर्भूत्वा पठेद्भक्त्या समन्वितः ॥

جو انسان صبح سویرے اٹھ کر، یکسو اور متوجہ ہو کر، حواس پر قابو پا کر اور پاکیزہ ہو کر، بھکتی اور یکسو نیت کے ساتھ اس کا پاٹھ کرے۔
