वृथाटनं था दानं वृथा च पशुमारणम् न कर्त्तव्यं गृहस्थेन वृता दारपरिग्रहम्
vṛthāṭanaṃ thā dānaṃ vṛthā ca paśumāraṇam na karttavyaṃ gṛhasthena vṛtā dāraparigraham
گھرستھ کو بے مقصد آوارہ گردی، بے فائدہ دان، اور بلا وجہ جانوروں کا مارنا نہیں کرنا چاہیے؛ اور اسی طرح بے سوچے سمجھے بیوی اختیار کرنا (نکاح) بھی نہیں کرنا چاہیے۔
