पुरा देवासुरे जाते संग्रामे भृशदारुणे । दैत्यैर्वरमदोत्सिक्तैर्देवा युधि पराजिताः
purā devāsure jāte saṃgrāme bhṛśadāruṇe | daityairvaramadotsiktairdevā yudhi parājitāḥ
قدیم زمانے میں جب دیوتاؤں اور اسوروں کے درمیان نہایت ہولناک جنگ چھڑ گئی، تو ور دانوں کے نشے میں مغرور دیتیوں نے میدانِ جنگ میں دیوتاؤں کو شکست دے دی۔
