Agastya (contextual; until explicit speaker change at 68)
Tirtha: Viṣṇu (Ayodhyā-sthāna under the name ‘Viṣṇu’)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Vyāsa
Scene: A schematic sacred map of Ayodhyā shows east as the ‘back’ and a central corridor; within the city a radiant Viṣṇu-Hari presence is enthroned, signifying ancient, proven potency and special eminence.
A kṣetra becomes supremely sacred where the Lord is believed to abide with prādhānya (special eminence), making devotion and remembrance there especially potent.
Ayodhyā is glorified as a place where Hari (Viṣṇu) dwells prominently, with a traditionally known sacred power.
No explicit rite is given; the verse emphasizes divine presence and the city’s sacred configuration.
