ईश्वर उवाच । शृणु देवि प्रवक्ष्यामि दामोदरहरिं प्रति । इतिहासं पुराख्यातमृषिभिः कल्पवासिभिः
īśvara uvāca | śṛṇu devi pravakṣyāmi dāmodarahariṃ prati | itihāsaṃ purākhyātamṛṣibhiḥ kalpavāsibhiḥ
ایشور نے کہا: اے دیوی، سنو؛ میں دامودر-ہری کے بارے میں وہ قدیم حکایت بیان کرتا ہوں جو زمانۂ قدیم میں کَلپوں تک بسنے والے رشیوں نے سنائی تھی۔
