kārtikyāṃ caiva vaiśākhyāṃ māsamekamupoṣayet | daityasūdanamadhyasthaḥ samyakchraddhāsamanvitaḥ

کارتِک اور اسی طرح ویشاکھ کے مہینے میں، ایک پورا مہینہ روزہ رکھے؛ دَیتیہ سُودن (وشنو) کی حضوری میں رہتے ہوئے، درست شردھا سے یکت ہو کر۔
