चाक्षुषस्यांतरे देवि यदा दैत्या बलोत्कटाः । हन्यमाना विष्णुनाऽथ दक्षिणां दिशमाविशन्

cākṣuṣasyāṃtare devi yadā daityā balotkaṭāḥ | hanyamānā viṣṇunā'tha dakṣiṇāṃ diśamāviśan

اے دیوی! چاکشُش منونتر میں، جب زور آور اور سخت گیر دانَو وشنو کے ہاتھوں مارے جا رہے تھے، تب وہ بھاگ کر جنوبی سمت میں جا گھسے۔
