न देवी न च गन्धर्वी नासुरी न च किंनरी । तादृग्रूपा महादेवि यादृशी सा सुमध्यमा

وہ نہ دیوی تھی، نہ گندھرو کی دوشیزہ، نہ اسُری، نہ کنّری۔ اے مہادیوی! پھر بھی وہ باریک کمر والی انہی جیسی روپ والی تھی۔
