iti śrīskāṃde mahāpurāṇa ekāśītisāhasryāṃ saṃhitāyāṃ saptame prabhāsakhaṇḍe prathame prabhāsakṣetramāhātmye mārkaṃḍeśvaramāhātmyavarṇanaṃnāma ṣaṣṭyuttara triśatatamo'dhyāyaḥ

Translation

یوں شری اسکانْد مہاپُران کی اکیاسی ہزار شلوکوں والی سنہتا میں، ساتویں پرَبھاس کھنڈ کے پہلے حصے ‘پرَبھاسکشیتر ماہاتمیہ’ کے اندر ‘مارکنڈیشور ماہاتمیہ کی توصیف’ نامی باب، یعنی باب 361، اختتام کو پہنچا۔
