तमिन्द्रः प्लावयामास वृष्ट्यौघैर्वरवर्णिनि । न शशाक यदा नेतुं तदा स यतवाक्स्थितः

tamindraḥ plāvayāmāsa vṛṣṭyaughairvaravarṇini | na śaśāka yadā netuṃ tadā sa yatavāksthitaḥ

اے خوش رنگ و خوب صورت! اندر نے بارش کے سیلابی دھاروں سے اسے ڈبونے کی کوشش کی، مگر جب اسے قابو نہ کر سکا تو بے بسی میں خاموش کھڑا رہ گیا، زبان بند کیے ہوئے۔
