अपां मध्ये स्थिता देवाः सर्वमप्सु प्रतिष्ठितम् । ब्राह्मणस्य करे न्यस्ताः शिवा आपो भवन्तु नः
apāṃ madhye sthitā devāḥ sarvamapsu pratiṣṭhitam | brāhmaṇasya kare nyastāḥ śivā āpo bhavantu naḥ
پانی کے بیچ ہی دیوتا بستے ہیں؛ سب کچھ پانی ہی میں قائم ہے۔ جب وہ آب برہمن کے ہاتھ میں رکھا جائے تو وہ ہمارے لیے شِو—یعنی مبارک و خیر رساں—بن جائے۔
