Brahmā
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī (addressed as ‘varānane’ in the surrounding narrative)
Scene: A divine messenger-like narration: the deceased consort reborn as Himavat’s daughter; prophecy of a son destined to slay Tāraka; gods urging propitiation of Śūlapāṇi.
Cosmic restoration unfolds through devotion and divine plan: propitiation of Śiva leads to the birth of the force that removes oppression.
The verse remains within Prabhāsa Kṣetra Māhātmya while referencing Himavat’s abode as the mythic setting for Devī’s rebirth.
Propitiate Śūlapāṇi (Śiva)—a directive implying worship, prayer, and seeking Śiva’s prasāda to accomplish the divine purpose.
