Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Bhārgaveśvara
Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: Śiva (Īśvara) instructs Mahādevī on pilgrimage direction: a map-like sacred landscape with a prominent liṅga shrine labeled Bhārgaveśvara to the south; devotees walking with water-pots and flower baskets.
Pilgrimage undertaken with reverence to Śiva’s tīrthas is presented as a means of inner purification and the removal of sin.
Bhārgaveśvara, a Śiva-liṅga/shrine located to the south within the sacred landscape of Prabhāsa-kṣetra.
A directional pilgrimage instruction is given: one should proceed to the southern shrine; no specific ritual items are detailed in this verse.
