Īśvara (Śiva) (explicit in nearby context of the māhātmya discourse)
Tirtha: Jāmadagnyeśvara (liṅga at Prabhāsa)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Paraśurāma consecrates a radiant black-stone liṅga in the auspicious Prabhāsa field; later, a repentant sinner offers bilva and water, and a luminous path opens toward Umāpati’s realm.
Devotional worship (bhakti) at a sanctified tīrtha can dissolve even heavy sin and lead the devotee toward Śiva’s realm.
Prabhāsakṣetra (Prābhāsika kṣetra), where the liṅga is said to be established.
Liṅga-pūjā performed with bhakti; the emphasis is on heartfelt devotion rather than merely external ritual.
