पापघ्नं गोमतीतीरं प्राप्यते पुण्यवन्नरैः । सागरेण च संमिश्रं महापातकनाशनम्
pāpaghnaṃ gomatītīraṃ prāpyate puṇyavannaraiḥ | sāgareṇa ca saṃmiśraṃ mahāpātakanāśanam
گومتی کا گناہ ہرانے والا کنارا نیکوکار لوگوں کو نصیب ہوتا ہے؛ اور جب وہ سمندر سے ملتا ہے تو بڑے سے بڑے مہاپاتک (سنگین گناہوں) کو بھی مٹا دیتا ہے۔
