yeṣāṃ kṛṣṇālaye prāṇā gatā dānavanāyaka | na teṣāṃ punarāvṛttiḥ kalpakoṭiśatairapi
Prahlāda
Tirtha: Dvārakā
Type: kshetra
Scene: A devotee’s last breath leaving the body within radiant Dvārakā, with Kṛṣṇa’s presence implied by temple spires, conch and discus motifs, and the sea’s luminous horizon; attendants chant the name of Hari.
The Purāṇa asserts the salvific power of Kṛṣṇa’s abode: death there is equated with freedom from repeated return.
Kṛṣṇālaya—Dvārakā, understood as Kṛṣṇa’s own abode.
No explicit rite; the verse underscores the supreme merit of residing in or reaching Dvārakā at life’s end.
