एवं स द्विजमुख्यैश्च संपृष्टो दैत्यसत्तमः । प्रणम्य ब्राह्मणान्सर्वान्भक्त्या संहृष्टमानसः
evaṃ sa dvijamukhyaiśca saṃpṛṣṭo daityasattamaḥ | praṇamya brāhmaṇānsarvānbhaktyā saṃhṛṣṭamānasaḥ
یوں جب برگزیدہ دِوِجوں نے اس سے سوال کیا تو دَیتیوں میں سب سے افضل وہ شخص—دل میں مسرور ہو کر—عقیدت کے ساتھ تمام برہمنوں کو سجدۂ تعظیم کیا۔
