शयानो मैथुनासक्तः स्तनपो व्याधिपीडितः । न हंतव्यो मृगो राजन्मृगी च शिशुना वृता
śayāno maithunāsaktaḥ stanapo vyādhipīḍitaḥ | na haṃtavyo mṛgo rājanmṛgī ca śiśunā vṛtā
“اے راجن! ہرن کو اس حال میں قتل نہیں کرنا چاہیے جب وہ لیٹا ہو، جفتی میں مشغول ہو، دودھ پیتا ہو یا بیماری سے ستایا ہو؛ اور مادہ ہرن کو بھی، جب وہ اپنے بچے کے ساتھ ہو، مارنا روا نہیں۔”
