देव्युवाच । यथा यूयं मया सृष्टास्तथैवायं महासुरः । विशेषो नास्ति मे कश्चिदुभयोः सुरसत्तमाः
devyuvāca | yathā yūyaṃ mayā sṛṣṭāstathaivāyaṃ mahāsuraḥ | viśeṣo nāsti me kaścidubhayoḥ surasattamāḥ
دیوی نے فرمایا: جیسے تمہیں میں نے پیدا کیا، ویسے ہی اس عظیم اسُر کو بھی میں نے پیدا کیا ہے۔ اے دیوتاؤں میں برگزیدہو، میرے نزدیک تم دونوں میں کوئی طرف داری نہیں۔
