Brahmā (continuing counsel)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Deva-saṅgha
Scene: Close depiction of Indra’s limbs showing symbolic ‘marks’ of brahmahatyā (dark blotches, broken aura, ominous emblems); devas turn upward as if preparing to ascend to heaven.
Sin leaves discernible consequences; dharma requires recognizing them and pursuing the right remedy rather than denial.
No tīrtha is named in this verse; it underscores the need for a purifying sacred intervention later in the narrative.
An instruction of avoidance is implied; the explicit purificatory rite is not stated in this verse.
