अथ तां विरतां ज्ञात्वा सोऽन्यचित्तां प्रियां नृपः । यत्नेन रक्षयामास विश्वासं नैव गच्छति
atha tāṃ viratāṃ jñātvā so'nyacittāṃ priyāṃ nṛpaḥ | yatnena rakṣayāmāsa viśvāsaṃ naiva gacchati
پھر، یہ جان کر کہ اس کی محبوبہ کا دل کہیں اور لگا ہے اور وہ اس سے بیزار ہے، بادشاہ نے احتیاط سے اس کی نگرانی کی، لیکن اسے اس پر اعتبار نہ آیا۔
