संप्रदानक्रियां कृत्वा तत्रैव विधिपूर्वकम् । ततो हस्तग्रहं ताभ्यां मिथश्चक्रे यथाक्रमम् । मातॄणां पुरतो वेधाः सतीशाभ्यां यथोचितम्

saṃpradānakriyāṃ kṛtvā tatraiva vidhipūrvakam | tato hastagrahaṃ tābhyāṃ mithaścakre yathākramam | mātṝṇāṃ purato vedhāḥ satīśābhyāṃ yathocitam

وہیں قاعدے کے مطابق کنیادان (سپردان) کی رسم ادا کرکے، پھر دونوں کا باہمی ہاتھ پکڑنے (ہست گرہن) کا عمل ترتیب وار کرایا؛ اور ماتراؤں کے حضور ویدھا (برہما) نے ستی اور ایش کے لیے مناسب سنسکار بجا لایا۔
