nānāvāditraghoṣeṇa vedadhvaniyutena ca | gītairmanoharaiḥ pāṭhairbandināṃ ca sahasraśaḥ
Sūta (continued narrative frame)
Tirtha: Dvāravatī (Dvārakā)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A dense celebratory sound-scene: musicians with drums, cymbals, conches; brāhmaṇas chanting Veda; singers performing; thousands of bandins (panegyrists) reciting praises; the wedding pavilion glows with lamps and garlands.
Auspicious celebration is sanctified when worldly festivity is harmonized with Vedic sound—music and mantra together.
The festive description belongs to the Dvāravatī setting introduced in Adhyāya 73.
No single rite is prescribed; the verse describes maṅgala-śabda—Vedic chanting, recitations, and celebratory music.
