यस्तं पूजयते भक्त्या चैत्रषष्ठ्यां सुभावतः । शुक्लायां तस्य संतुष्टिं कुरुते बर्हिवाहनः
yastaṃ pūjayate bhaktyā caitraṣaṣṭhyāṃ subhāvataḥ | śuklāyāṃ tasya saṃtuṣṭiṃ kurute barhivāhanaḥ
جو کوئی چَیتر کے شُکل پکش کی چھٹی (شَشْٹھی) کو پاک نیت کے ساتھ بھکتی سے اس کی پوجا کرے، بَرہِواہن (سکند) اس سے خوش ہو جاتا ہے۔
