वरुपूजोपहारैश्च नैवेद्यैर्विविधैस्ततः । ततो वर्षसहस्रांते स दैत्यो दुःखसंयुतः

varupūjopahāraiśca naivedyairvividhaistataḥ | tato varṣasahasrāṃte sa daityo duḥkhasaṃyutaḥ

وہاں اس نے پوجا کے نذرانوں اور طرح طرح کے نَیویدیہ (نذرِ طعام) پیش کیے؛ پھر بھی جب ہزار برس پورے ہوئے تو وہ دَیتیہ دکھ میں ہی گرفتار رہا۔
