स दृष्ट्वा स्वाश्रमं ध्वस्तं पुलिन्दैर्बहुशो वृतम् । लकुटाश्मप्रहारैस्तु तां धेनुं जर्जरीकृताम्
sa dṛṣṭvā svāśramaṃ dhvastaṃ pulindairbahuśo vṛtam | lakuṭāśmaprahāraistu tāṃ dhenuṃ jarjarīkṛtām
اس نے اپنا آشرم تباہ دیکھا اور بہت سے پُلِندوں سے چاروں طرف گھرا ہوا پایا۔ اس نے اس گائے کو بھی دیکھا جو لاٹھیوں اور پتھروں کی ضربوں سے چور چور ہو چکی تھی۔
