भरद्वाज उवाच । जीर्यंति जीर्यतः केशा दंता जीर्यंति जीर्यतः । चक्षुः श्रोत्रे तथा पुंसस्तृष्णैका तरुणायते
bharadvāja uvāca | jīryaṃti jīryataḥ keśā daṃtā jīryaṃti jīryataḥ | cakṣuḥ śrotre tathā puṃsastṛṣṇaikā taruṇāyate
بھردواج نے کہا: آدمی کے بوڑھا ہونے پر بال بھی بوڑھے ہوتے ہیں، دانت بھی بوڑھے ہوتے ہیں؛ آنکھ اور کان بھی بوڑھے ہو جاتے ہیں۔ مگر تِرِشنا ہی ایسی ہے جو اندر ہمیشہ جوان رہتی ہے۔
