वेष्टयामास भोगेन निश्चलस्य महात्मनः । एतस्मिन्नंतरे शिष्यस्तस्यासीत्सुतपोऽन्वितः
veṣṭayāmāsa bhogena niścalasya mahātmanaḥ | etasminnaṃtare śiṣyastasyāsītsutapo'nvitaḥ
وہ سانپ اس بےحرکت مہاتما کے گرد اپنے حلقوں سے لپٹ گیا اور اپنے جسم سے اسے جکڑ لیا۔ اسی دوران اس کا شاگرد، نیک تپسیا سے آراستہ، وہاں موجود تھا۔
