तेन तां ब्राह्मणीं कृत्वा पश्चात्तस्याः परिग्रहम् । गृह्योक्तविधिना चक्रे पुरःस्थोऽपि पितामहः

tena tāṃ brāhmaṇīṃ kṛtvā paścāttasyāḥ parigraham | gṛhyoktavidhinā cakre puraḥstho'pi pitāmahaḥ

یوں اسے برہمنی بنا کر، پھر پِتامہ (برہما) نے—اگرچہ آگے کی جانب بیٹھے ہوئے تھے—گِرہیہ رسومات میں بتائے ہوئے طریقے کے مطابق اس کا پَرِگْرہ، یعنی بطورِ زوجہ قبول، ادا کیا۔
