दुःशील उवाच । सतां सप्तपदीं मैत्रीं प्रवदंति मनीषिणः । मित्रतां तु पुरस्कृत्य किंचिद्वक्ष्यामि तच्छृणु
duḥśīla uvāca | satāṃ saptapadīṃ maitrīṃ pravadaṃti manīṣiṇaḥ | mitratāṃ tu puraskṛtya kiṃcidvakṣyāmi tacchṛṇu
دُشیل نے کہا: دانا لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ نیکوں میں سات قدم ساتھ چلنے سے دوستی پختہ ہو جاتی ہے۔ اسی دوستی کو پیشِ نظر رکھ کر میں کچھ عرض کرتا ہوں—سن لو۔
