Transliteration

adattvā gāṃ ca ye martyā mriyaṃte dvijasattama | tīrtvā hastādibhirdurgā ta imāṃ saṃtaraṃti ca

Translation

اے بہترینِ دِویج! جو فانی لوگ گائے کا دان کیے بغیر مر جاتے ہیں، وہ اس دشوار دھارا کو اپنے ہاتھ پاؤں وغیرہ کے سہارے بڑی مشقت سے پار کرتے ہیں۔
