यम उवाच । निमिषेणापि नो मर्त्यमानयामि महीतलात् । आयुःशेषेण विप्रेन्द्र पूर्णेनाथ त्यजामि न

یَم نے کہا: “میں ایک پل کے لیے بھی کسی فانی کو زمین کی سطح سے نہیں اٹھاتا۔ اے برہمنوں کے سردار! جب تک مقررہ عمر کا باقی حصہ پورا نہ ہو جائے، میں کسی کو رخصت نہیں کرتا۔”
