śrāddhaṃ vināpi dātavyaṃ taddine madhunā saha | pāyasaṃ brāhmaṇāgryebhyaḥ saghṛtaṃ tṛptikāraṇāt

Translation

اُس دن، باقاعدہ شرادھ کے بغیر بھی، شہد کے ساتھ دان دینا چاہیے۔ پِتروں کی تسکین کے لیے، بہترین برہمنوں کو گھی کے ساتھ پَیاس (کھیر) پیش کی جائے۔
