adhunā śṛṇu rājendra yugādyāḥ pitṛvallabhāḥ | yāsāṃ saṃkīrtanenāpi kṣīyate pāpasaṃcayaḥ
Skanda (deduced)
Tirtha: Yugādi (Pitṛ-vallabha kāla-viśeṣa)
Type: kshetra
Listener: rājendra (a king)
Scene: A teacher-sage addressing a king, pointing to a calendrical chart/pañcāṅga; behind them symbolic wheels of yugas; faint Pitṛs appear pleased as the yugādi names are spoken.
Sacred remembrance itself is purifying; naming dharmically charged times (yugādis) reduces sin and supports ancestral harmony.
The emphasis is on yugādi sacred time within a tīrtha-māhātmya framework; no specific place-name appears in the verse.
Saṃkīrtana (recitation/mention) of yugādi days, implying their observance for Pitṛ-related rites.
