शुक्लपक्षं समासाद्य तारापतिरिवांबरे । वर्धमानस्य तस्यैवमतीताः पंच वत्सराः । बालक्रीडाप्रसक्तस्य पितुरुत्सङ्गवर्तिनः
śuklapakṣaṃ samāsādya tārāpatirivāṃbare | vardhamānasya tasyaivamatītāḥ paṃca vatsarāḥ | bālakrīḍāprasaktasya piturutsaṅgavartinaḥ
جیسے شُکل پکش بڑھتا ہے اور آسمان میں ستاروں کے سردار چاند کی طرح چمکتا ہے، ویسے ہی وہ لڑکا بڑھتا گیا۔ یوں پانچ برس گزر گئے—بچپن کے کھیل میں مگن، باپ کی گود میں ہی رہنے والا۔
