एतच्छ्रुत्वा तथेत्युक्त्वा शतानन्दः प्रहर्षितः । स्थितः प्रतीक्षमाणस्तु तं कालं मातृवत्सलः
etacchrutvā tathetyuktvā śatānandaḥ praharṣitaḥ | sthitaḥ pratīkṣamāṇastu taṃ kālaṃ mātṛvatsalaḥ
یہ سن کر شتانند خوشی سے جھوم اٹھا اور بولا، “تथैتی—یوں ہی ہو”، پھر ماں سے محبت کرنے والے کی طرح نرم دل ہو کر وہیں ٹھہرا رہا اور اُس مقررہ وقت کا انتظار کرتا رہا۔
