Brāhmaṇas
Tirtha: Ānarta (courtly node within the tīrtha-region)
Type: kshetra
Scene: The king presents elephants, horses, and gold; the ascetics hesitate. The king’s brow darkens, a red aura of anger rising behind him, contrasting with the ascetics’ calm.
Material generosity may carry social pressure; dharma requires balancing courtesy with spiritual safeguards against entanglement and anger.
No tīrtha is named in this verse; it continues the contextual description within the Tīrthamāhātmya.
The verse concerns dāna and the act of accepting or refusing gifts; no other ritual practice is described.
