rāmalakṣmaṇayorevaṃ vadatostatra kānane | ājagāma muniśreṣṭho mārkaṃḍa iti yaḥ smṛtaḥ

اسی جنگل میں جب رام اور لکشمن یوں گفتگو کر رہے تھے تو اسی وقت رشیوں میں برتر، جو مارکنڈ کے نام سے یاد کیے جاتے ہیں، وہاں آ پہنچے۔
