यो जपेद्ब्राह्मणस्तस्याः सावित्रीं पुरतः स्थितः । तस्य यत्स्यात्फलं विप्राः श्रूयतां तद्वदामि वः

yo japedbrāhmaṇastasyāḥ sāvitrīṃ purataḥ sthitaḥ | tasya yatsyātphalaṃ viprāḥ śrūyatāṃ tadvadāmi vaḥ

اگر کوئی برہمن اُس کے سامنے کھڑا ہو کر ساوتری منتر کا جپ کرے، تو سنو اے برہمنو؛ میں تمہیں اس کا پھل بیان کرتا ہوں۔
