etadvaḥ sarvamākhyātaṃ yatpṛṣṭho'smi dvijottamāḥ | kaṃsārīśvarasaṃjñastu yathā jātastu pāpahā | sthāpitaḥ pippalādena svayaṃ caiva mahātmanā
Contextual narrator concluding the account (speaker not explicitly marked in this verse; narrative voice summarizing)
Tirtha: Kaṃsārīśvara
Type: kshetra
Listener: dvijottamāḥ (brāhmaṇas)
Scene: A learned narrator concludes the account before assembled brāhmaṇas: the Kaṃsārīśvara liṅga stands adorned; Pippalāda is shown as the installer, holding kuśa and kamaṇḍalu, with ritual vessels and bilva leaves nearby.
A consecrated Śiva presence at a tīrtha becomes a pāpahā (sin-remover) through sincere establishment and enduring tradition.
Kaṃsārīśvara—an established Liṅga-tīrtha in the Nāgarakhaṇḍa’s Tīrthamāhātmya.
The verse summarizes the origin and establishment (sthāpanā/pratiṣṭhā) of the Liṅga rather than prescribing a new rite.
