Śiva (Mahādeva)
Type: kund
Listener: Vaṭikī / intended female practitioners
Scene: A devotee completes the rite: she bathes in the tank, then offers worship at the liṅga; the scene subtly shifts from anxiety to radiance, symbolizing saubhāgya attained by the year’s completion.
Purification (snāna) paired with devotion (pūjā) culminates in auspiciousness and stability of fortune.
A tīrtha defined by its sacred waters and the Malliṅga worshipped after bathing.
Perform snāna in the tīrtha waters and then worship the Malliṅga; the promised fruit matures by year’s end.
