यस्तत्र दीपकं दद्यात्कार्तिके मासि च द्विजाः । न स पश्यति रौद्रांस्तान्नरकानेकविंशतिम् । न चांधो जायते क्वापि यत्रयत्र प्रजायते
yastatra dīpakaṃ dadyātkārtike māsi ca dvijāḥ | na sa paśyati raudrāṃstānnarakānekaviṃśatim | na cāṃdho jāyate kvāpi yatrayatra prajāyate
اے دِوِجوں! جو کوئی کارتک کے مہینے میں وہاں چراغ دان کرے، وہ اُن ہولناک اکیس نرکوں کو نہیں دیکھتا؛ اور جہاں جہاں وہ پھر جنم لیتا ہے، کبھی اندھا پیدا نہیں ہوتا۔
