नष्टं मृतमतीतं च ये शोचन्ति कुबुद्धयः । धीराणां तु पुरा राजन्नष्टं नष्टं मृतं मृतम्
naṣṭaṃ mṛtamatītaṃ ca ye śocanti kubuddhayaḥ | dhīrāṇāṃ tu purā rājannaṣṭaṃ naṣṭaṃ mṛtaṃ mṛtam
“کم فہم لوگ کھوئی ہوئی، مری ہوئی اور گزر چکی چیزوں پر روتے ہیں۔ مگر ثابت قدموں کے لیے، اے بادشاہ، جو کھو گیا سو کھو گیا، اور جو مر گیا سو مر گیا۔”
