देवा ऊचुः । तव कांता सती नाम या मृता प्राक्सुरोत्तम । सा जाता मेनकागर्भे गौरी नाम हिमाचलात्
devā ūcuḥ | tava kāṃtā satī nāma yā mṛtā prāksurottama | sā jātā menakāgarbhe gaurī nāma himācalāt
دیوتاؤں نے کہا: اے دیوتاؤں میں برتر! تمہاری پیاری ستی جو پہلے وفات پا گئی تھی، وہ میناکاؔ کے رحم میں دوبارہ جنمی ہے—ہماچل کی بیٹی، گوری نام سے۔
