yāvadbhāvā hyanekāśca iṃdriyārthāstathaiva ca | yāvacca mamatābhāvastāvadīśo hi durlabhaḥ
Nandī (continuing instruction)
Tirtha: Kedāra (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Brahmā (and assembly)
Scene: A contemplative teaching tableau: Nandin points to the heart while symbolic sense-objects (forms, sounds, riches) swirl around Brahmā, illustrating distraction and ‘mine-ness’ as veils.
Śiva-realization is blocked by scattered desires and possessiveness; renunciation and inner steadiness make the Lord accessible.
No single tirtha is named; the verse provides the inner qualification for benefiting from Kedāra’s Śaiva sanctity.
No explicit rite; the prescription is vairāgya—reducing sense-objects and mamatā.
