किमायामं च विस्तारं क्व चांतः क्व च पीठिका । इति चिंतान्विता विष्णुमूचुः सर्वे सुरास्तदा
kimāyāmaṃ ca vistāraṃ kva cāṃtaḥ kva ca pīṭhikā | iti ciṃtānvitā viṣṇumūcuḥ sarve surāstadā
“اس کی لمبائی اور چوڑائی کیا ہے؟ اس کا انت کہاں ہے اور اس کی بنیاد کہاں؟”—یوں فکر میں بھر کر، اُس وقت سب دیوتاؤں نے وِشنو سے کہا۔
