ज्वरैस्तु पीडितान्देवान्दृष्ट्वा विष्णुर्हसन्निव । जीवग्राहेण जग्राह देवांस्तांश्च पृथक्पृथक्

jvaraistu pīḍitāndevāndṛṣṭvā viṣṇurhasanniva | jīvagrāheṇa jagrāha devāṃstāṃśca pṛthakpṛthak

جب وشنو نے بخاروں سے ستائے ہوئے دیوتاؤں کو دیکھا تو گویا مسکراتے ہوئے اُس نے ‘جان کھینچ لینے والی’ گرفت سے اُن دیوتاؤں کو ایک ایک کر کے جدا جدا پکڑ لیا۔
