श्रृण्वंत्वमी विप्रतमा इदानीं वचो हि मे कर्तुमिहार्हथैतत् । रुद्रो ह्ययं यज्ञबाह्यो वृतो मे वर्णातीतो वर्णपरो यतश्च
śrṛṇvaṃtvamī vipratamā idānīṃ vaco hi me kartumihārhathaitat | rudro hyayaṃ yajñabāhyo vṛto me varṇātīto varṇaparo yataśca
اے برہمنوں کے سردارو! اب میری بات سنو اور یہاں جو مناسب ہے وہ کرو۔ کیونکہ اس رُدر کو میں نے یَجْن سے باہر رکھا ہے—وہ ورن سے ماورا بھی ہے اور ورنوں پر برتر بھی؛ اسی سبب میں نے اسے الگ کیا ہے۔
