यावन्न हरिणाक्षीणामपांगविवरेक्षिताः । मया व्यवसितं चित्ते तदानीं तां जिहीर्षुणा
yāvanna hariṇākṣīṇāmapāṃgavivarekṣitāḥ | mayā vyavasitaṃ citte tadānīṃ tāṃ jihīrṣuṇā
جب تک ہرن چشم دوشیزاؤں کی آنکھ کے کونے کی ترچھی نگاہوں کے تیر مجھے نہ لگے تھے، تب تک میرے دل کا عزم مضبوط تھا؛ مگر جب اُسے لے اُڑنے کی خواہش جاگی تو وہ عزم ڈگمگا گیا۔
