tasmindine nāradena nirmite'traiva kūpake | snānaṃ kṛtvā prayatnena śrāddhaṃ kuryātsamāhitaḥ
Bābhravya (prescriptive passage)
Tirtha: Nārada-kūpa
Type: kund
Listener: Pāṇḍava (address implied in nearby verses; the instruction stream is directed to a Pāṇḍava interlocutor)
Scene: A serene tīrtha-well with stone steps; a pilgrim completes snāna and then sits facing south to perform śrāddha, with offerings arranged (tila, water vessel), while a subtle presence of Nārada is suggested by vīṇā motifs.
Sacred geography and sacred time unite: bathing at a consecrated spot supports disciplined rites and ancestral gratitude.
Nārada-kūpa—the well constructed by Nārada at this place.
Snāna (ritual bath) in Nārada-kūpa followed by focused performance of śrāddha.
